The National Film Institute today received various ICT Equipments to aid teaching and Learning for the German Sponsored Masters Programme on Archival Film Studies. Presenting the Equipment to the Institute, Managing Director of the Nigerian Film Corporation and Chairman Governing Council, National Film Institute, Dr. Chidia Maduekwe said the presentation of the equipments to the National Film Institute is to further boost teaching and Learning in the institution.
Dr. Maduekwe said the equipments were received after the tireless efforts of the present APC led government desire to support creativity of Nigerian Youths and promised to always do all within his ability to take the National Film institute to greater heights. He restated his commitment of collaborating with the German partners in facilitating the smooth running of the Masters Degree programme despite the challenges of Covid 19 pandemic.
Receiving the items, Rector of the National Film Institute, Professor Jerimiah Methuselah eulogized the efforts of the Managing Director. ” I have seen the commitment of Dr. Maduekwe since assuming office recently”. He thanked the Managing Director for always matching action with words, including the presentation of ICT Equipments. The Rector promised to put the Equipment to good use, hinting that within the next one week, online Learning will commence with Zoom and Google Meet Classrooms.
